Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In San Jose

Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. Rachel claims that a groomer taped Toto r’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.

Rachel recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Toto r biting.

Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.

Rachel took Toto immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Jose's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.

Rachel described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas - a Wow! My Dog client - posted a animal abuse clipart Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.
Bad Review

In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, Wow! My Dog wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. Rachel stated, "Juliann informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."

When contacted by Gate News, Wow! My Dog answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
